Registration with a Cold Spring Harbor Library Card is required!

Grades 7-12. Earn community service credit for assisting our librarians with this childrens program for grades K-5 including setup, operating the program and cleanup.

Assist our librarians with a variety of tasks after school, which will vary on the day. Please note, due to the small number of spaces, this program is restricted to CSH library card holders only.

This is an in-person program that will take place at the library.
(4) Fridays: November 8, 15, 22 & December 6  from 1 pm to 3 pm (class does not meet on 11/29)

Grades 7-12. Earn community service credit for assisting our librarians with this family childrens program including setup, operating the program and cleanup. Report to the Childrens desk on the day of the event to check in.

Come down and create art based on leaves!

For children of all ages and their family

Join us for our annual apple pie-making program.  Create a delicious apple pie to bake at home.  One pie per family!

Grades 6-12. Make a delicious apple crumble pie to bring home and bake.

Make your holiday prep a little easier with our make-and-take apple pie!  We will be assembling pies that you can bake at home or freeze. 

For children ages 3-5 with adult

Explore the wonderful work of science through books, games and hands-on activities.

For children ages 2-5 with adult

Create a paper craft pumpkin pie!

This is a virtual program which will take place via Zoom.

Create your very own fall crafts!

Harpist and Pianist Olivia Lu has performed in and directed New York City concerts for 18 years. She will be performing duet and trio pieces with Pianist Patricia Jones and Flutist Dr. Dara Marie.

Grades 7-12. Read to kids! Volunters will pair up with children grades K-5 to read and complete a simple winter-themed craft. Earn 1.5 hours of community service credit. 

For children in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
