Event Details

This is a virtual program. Class dates: 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25

For students with some prior experience with watercolor painting. Anne Gunthner will guide students in painting a series of small watercolor still life and perhaps one or two landscapes, no larger than 5x7 or 8x10. Completion of painting at the end of each class will be emphasized through simpler studies and looser watercolor techniques.

Supplies needed:

Watercolor paper pad, no larger than 12x16 (cold press, at least 160lb)

Watercolors: In tubes or a palette set.

Brushes: Please have an assortment of watercolor brushes, both round and flat. Suggested sizes for round brushes are #2, #6, & # 10. Have at least one flat brush of any size. Please note: The instructor recommends Simply Simons brand brushes and advises avoiding Michael's store brand, Artist's Loft.
