Event Details

Looking to join a lively book discussion group? Adult and Information Services Librarians Carolyn and Scott host a monthly get together on Zoom to spotlight and discuss a current book selection. Register using the library's online calendar and to check for titles and more details!

September 9 - Fun Fall Titles: Book Swap - Bring a title or two to share on Zoom! If you love to talk about the books you're reading, waiting to read or have read, pull up a chair and join our librarians Carolyn and Scott. This casual chat is open to all and there is no assigned reading or reading lists.

September 23 - Casino Royale: Book Discussion - Join Librarians Carolyn and Scott on Zoom as we revisit the classic 1953 thriller, Casino Royale. James Bond is one of the most iconic characters in 20th-century literature. In addition to the 12 novels and 9 short stories written by Ian Fleming, there have been over 40 novels and short stories written about the spy by other authors, and 26 films produced, starring actors such as Sean Connery and Daniel Craig as 007.

October 7 - Poetry Night! Come to share, listen and learn on Zoom! Librarians Carolyn and Scott will highlight some of the library's poetry collection. (We might have a special guest this night - more to come on that so it will need to be added later)

October 21 - The Guest List: Book Discussion - Join Librarians Carolyn and Scott on Zoom as we examine this modern mystery by Lucy Foley.

Please register for each book discussion by 10:00pm the night before the program to receive the program link.
