Grades 7-12. Assist our librarians in set-up, break-down, conducting crafts and stalls at our Winter Festival. Earn up to 3 hours of community service credit. Please meet outside the large meeting room on the lower level. Dress for a mess!

Grades 7-12. Newcomers to the teen library volunteer program will get an overview, introductory folder and information on some upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Decorate bookmarks that we will laminate and provide to the community at our circulation desk! We will have ideas for seasonal themes on hand. Earn 1 hour of community service.

Design uplifting Valentine's Day cards that will be donated to the Northport Veterans Center.

Use your eyes and ears as you explore the paintings of famous modern artists and the jazz music that influenced them. Then have fun creating your jazz-inspired art.

Decorate, design and create themed collage bookmarks ahead of our 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution observances. These bookmarks will be laminated and given out to the community at our Circulation Desk.

Program open to ages 12 and up. Meet vested service-dogs-in-training. Their handlers will demonstrate training activities, test the dogs with distractions (you!) and a brief Q & A will follow.
