Attend one of these MANDATORY meetings to learn how to operate our Children’s Summer Reading Club station. You can sign up for time slots at these meetings. Meet at the childrens desk.

This lecture will introduce British artist Vanessa Bell (1879 - 1961) and her contributions to British Modernism in the early 20th century.

Explore modern artist Henri Matisse's famous Cut-Outs, then use his technique to make your own colorful creation.

Grades 7-12. Newcomers to the teen library volunteer program will get an overview, introductory folder and information on some upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Bertie Bots AND Jellybelly? Let’s take a chance. We will do blind testing as well as specific reviewing of popular flavors, plus unravel the secrets of multi-bean combos!

Join art historian, Jay Schuck, as he surveys the life and work of prominent women in the arts through history. Artists discussed are Artemisia Gentileschi, Judith Leyster, Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun, Mary Cassatt and Georgia O'Keeffe.

Grades 7-12. Earn community service credit for assisting our librarians with this children's program for Grades 1-5 including setup, operating the program and cleanup.

Create fizzy flowers with vinegar and baking soda!

Grades 6-12. In this lab we will test out a variety of sensory items, from pin art boards, to giant step pianos, to ring fidgets.
