Event Details

LGBTQ+ youth often experience greater bullying, discrimination, and mental health challenges. Parents, caregivers, and other adults may seek guidance in creating a safe and supportive environment for a child identifying as lesbian, gay, transgender, questioning, or other. This virtual presentation, led by a parent educator from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, will offer everyday skills for navigating a gender-expansive world and improving outcomes for youth. This program is offered in cooperation with the Huntington Zone Area Libraries.
