Join us for a brief history of milling in the Town of Huntington. This talk explores the locations and roles of historic mills that once produced flour, cloth, paper, and milled lumber throughout our area. The program will focus on the Lefferts Tide Mill, built in 1794 and still standing in a cove off Huntington Harbor in the Village of Lloyd Harbor!
