Ideal Scenes – A Gallery of Nature
Exhibit runs Monday, May 5-Friday, June 27, during library hours.

Step into a world where the delicate and the dynamic converge. Ideal Scenes – A Gallery of Nature is a breathtaking collection of framed photographs that celebrates the multifaceted beauty of our natural world. Each image invites you to pause, reflect, and connect with the serenity and strength found in nature’s every detail. From the tranquil stillness of early morning gardens to wide open horizons over broader landscapes and waterfronts, this exhibit captures the contrasting yet harmonious elements that make our area extraordinary. Through the lens of talented photographer Tim Votapka, A Gallery of Nature reminds us of the profound peace that nature offers and the powerful force it embodies. It’s a year-round invitation to find awe, inspiration, and solace in the natural world around us. This collection is more than an exhibition—it’s a journey into the heart of nature’s timeless elegance.

About Tim:
Tim Votapka is a veteran visual communicator with a passion for scenic and landscape photography. His images capture the most grace, peace, and power of nature as it presents itself in the fields, forests, yards and gardens throughout Long Island and New England. A resident of Centerport, NY, Tim has been an accomplished writer and creative director for a
wide variety of corporate and community campaigns. He always has his Nikon within reach, always scanning for the ideal scene where an image will reveal itself. Of his work, he says “The scenes are there every day. I merely have the good fortune to notice them, place them within a frame and then produce the ideal scene for others to see and enjoy.”
