Jennifer Mariotti is an artist and designer based on Long Island. Her lifelong love of art lead her to pursue a BFA from Pratt Institute. Since then she has enjoyed a 30-year career as an award-winning designer and creative director, while continuing to practice fine art techniques in her personal time.

These days, she has been exploring abstract painting methods in which paint is applied to the canvas without brushes. Carefully mixed paint is poured onto the canvas and then manipulated using various techniques. Mastering these techniques is only part of the equation; choosing pleasing and evocative color palettes, determining the order and dominance of the colors, and applying it with intention and control are the aspects of these methods the artist finds particularly exciting.

Jennifer works in a variety of mediums including ceramics, acrylic paint, photography, jewelry, mosaic tile, wood working, and faux finishes. She is also an avid reader, rock climber, and aspiring writer.
