Assist our librarians with a variety of tasks after school, which will vary on the day. Please note, due to the small number of spaces, this program is restricted to CSH library card holders only.

For children in grades 1-5

Have a paw-some time and practice your reading skills by reading to a certified therapy dog!  Each child will have 15 minutes to read to a dog.

For children ages 6 months to 24 months with adult

Enjoy sharing rhymes, songs, and movements with your child.

Grades 7-12. Earn community service credit for assisting our librarians with this children's program for kids ages K-5 including setup, operating the program and cleanup.

For children in grades K-5

Create your very own Sugar Cake dough to take home and bake!  Sugar cakes, similar to shortbread, were a traditional Colonial Recipe!

A beginning storytime filled with more advanced stories, songs, fingerplays, movement, and crafts.
