For children ages 6 months to 23 months with adult

Enjoy sharing rhymes, songs, and movements with your child.

For children ages 2-4 with adult

A beginning storytime filled with more advanced stories, songs, fingerplays, movement, and crafts.

Grades 7-12. Earn community service credit for assisting our librarians with this all ages childrens program including setup, operating the program and cleanup. Report to the childrens desk on the day of the event to check in.

For children ages 2-5 with adult

Using Shaving Cream Puff Paint, get creative!

For children of all ages and their family

Come on down to the library and play your favorite games!  Bring your friends and family!

Learn how to make a beautiful beaded bracelet, for yourself or to give as a gift. The $10 materials fee will cover all of the supplies you will need to make this fun piece of jewelry. Registration required.

Create a beautiful garden post to put in your garden!

Grades 6-12. Build 3D puzzles of famous buildings around the world, which we will put on display in the Childrens area to celebrate out multicultural Summer theme!

Earn 1 hour of community service credit.

Grades 6-12. Learn practices to be more mindful, including meditation. Sanctuary Project (part of the Huntington Youth Bureau) will guide the group, explaining the multicultural origins of these practices from around the world.

Grades 6-12.  Do you like anime and manga? Learn how to draw Japanese comics from McKel Supreme of Night and Day Anime Studios! In this fun program you'll walk away with your own artwork to be proud of. 

Grades 6-12. Drop in to play Mario Kart 8 on our big screen in the teen room. Casual event... bring your own Switch and hang out with friends while waiting turns to use our large TV screen.

Our teen battle of the books team will practice for the competition (August 12). Meeting generally set to be in the Underground, but may change depending on programs happening that day. In that case, the team will be notified.
