Professor David Jackson, from the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, will be discussing the domestication of crops over 10,000 years and how new tools will speed up our ability to produce healthier foods for the future.

OrganizeMe NY will discuss techniques for making well thought-out decisions on what to keep in their spaces and what to let go.  They will also answer questions and provide organizing solutions to common challenges that get people stuck

Join us for a brief history of milling in the Town of Huntington. This talk explores the locations and roles of historic mills that once produced flour, cloth, paper, and milled lumber throughout our area.

Bring your unwanted/used computers, cell phones, printers, televisions, tablets, keyboards, cables, wires, circuit boards, or stereos to the Library parking lot for safe disposal by Arrow Metal & Waste Recycling. 

Assist our librarians in set-up, break-down, and conducting crafts and stalls at our annual Environmental Fair.
