Please join retired social studies teacher (and retired army officer) Robert Browne as he presents the story of a great-uncle who served in the now-forgotten Balloon Corps in the great battles of WWI, suffered from shell-shock (now known as PTSD), and spent the rest of his life as a resident patient in the then newly-opened Northport Veterans Bureau Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
