Leisuramas were fully furnished (down to the silverware and toothbrushes) Montauk beach houses marketed and sold at Macy's flagship store at Herald Square and in Roosevelt Field. In 1960's America, anything seemed possible, even going to Macy's to buy a shirt, and walking out with a beach house, and a piece of the American Dream.
