Going Green While Saving Green

This is an in-person program and will take place at the library.

The Cold Spring Harbor Library will be hosting NY State Solar, a locally-based renewable energy company that is active across both Long Island and New York City, on different renewable alternatives such as solar that homeowners can use to offset traditionally "dirty" power sources that come from oil or natural gas. NYSS will teach you about useful information on the various programs that New York State currently has in place to encourage homeowners to go green. As you may know, the state has ambitious renewable energy goals - learn how you can do your part to help create a more sustainable future!
