Reception: Thursday, September 7th, in the Gallery on the Lower Level from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm

Come to the library to view Adam Balbi's stunning photography in our Gallery on the library's Lower Level. Meet the artist and enjoy light refreshments at the reception on Thursday, September 7th.

Adam Balbi is a landscape and candid photographer from Long Island, NY showcasing his work at Cold Spring Harbor Library. His range of work focuses on astrophotography, dusk & dawn skylines, backcountry terrestrial & marine nature, aerial survey for forestry, coastal erosion & agricultural needs, candid urban/street, and various charity organizations. Currently, Adam uses his DSLR, Samsung Galaxy S21 & multiple UAVs to produce his images.

Adam also loves being out in the backcountry for its own sake, having completed a 500-mile section of the Appalachian Trail. He hopes to explore other long distance trails in the near future.
