Science fiction has been a fertile ground for deeper sociopolitical commentary since its beginning.  What are the deeper meanings in the most beloved science fiction from books like Frankenstein to movies like Aliens. Blockbusters and best sellers entertained but dove deeper into contemporary issues that make good science fiction not about science, but about being human.
